Beemapally Uroos 2026 will be celebrated from November 11 to 21 at Beemapally Masjid in Muttathara, Thiruvananthapuram. Also known as Chandanakudam Mahotsavam, this 11-day religious and cultural festival commemorates Saint Sayyidhathunissa Beema Beevi and her son, Ashaikhu Sayidushaheed Maheen Aboobaker.
The celebrations begin with a traditional flag-hoisting ceremony. One of the main rituals involves devotees carrying chandanakudams, earthen pots decorated with sandalwood paste and filled with coins as offerings. The festival also features Duffmuttu performances, Islamic devotional songs and religious discourses. A grand procession marks the conclusion of the celebrations.
