The ceremony for the 55th Kerala State Film Awards (honoring films from 2024) will be held in Thiruvananthapuram to recognise outstanding achievements in Malayalam cinema. The awards will be presented by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in the presence of senior government officials, jury members, and leading film personalities. Veteran actress Sarada will receive the prestigious J. C. Daniel Award, the highest film honour of the Kerala government. The evening will also feature a special musical performance by award-winning playback singers.
