Aazhimala Shiva Temple is a revered coastal temple in Pulinkudi near Vizhinjam, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, beautifully positioned beside the Arabian Sea. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the temple is especially famous for its imposing 18-metre (58-foot) Gangadhareshwara sculpture, regarded as the tallest Shiva sculpture in Kerala. The striking statue portrays Shiva in a seated, four-armed form with Goddess Ganga emerging from his matted locks, creating a memorable sight against the sea.
